We will be holding our first official Computer Science Club meeting this Wednesday at 4:00pm in HS104 (the CS lab).
We will be talking about potential volunteering opportunities and company presentations among other things. It is important that you show up. YOU will be deciding what companies will be coming and what they talk about. The more input we can get, the more you will learn about the topics you are really interested in!
9/3/2009:
Welcome back everyone!
The Computer Science Club will be kicking off the Fall Semester with a party for new and returning CS students. It will be on Wednesday, September 9th at 4pm at the Lakeside Lawn (outside the lower union by the lake). At the party you can expect FREE food, drinks and fun games. All CS students are encouraged to attend, especially CS1309, CS1, and CS2 students.
By Friday (hopefully) you will all receive an invitational email. This email will have 2 links, 1 link that indicates that you plan to, or might attend this party, and 1 link that indicates you will not be able to make it. In any case, please click 1 of the links so we have a good idea of how much food we will need to bring. We will see you on Wednesday!
