M3066 Transformational Geometry and Escher Tessellations
Your transformational geometry and tessellations assignment will consist of two parts.
- The first part is a description of the fundamental transformations used to construct Escher like tessellations. The transformations are translation, slide or glide, rotation, both vertex and mid-point, and slide or glide reflections. This should be posted to your www site.
- The second part is to construct several tessellations. At least two of the tessellations are to be Escher like tessellations. One of these can be a one transformation tessellation. The second must be a multiple transformation tessellation. You should attach or make available the tessellation seed and a full page tessellation. The posting of this part of the assignment is your choice. Your instructor must see this part of the assignment so that a grade can be assigned.
